These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NotebookPlus — the browser extension, the website at https://www.notebookplus.app, and related services (the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The Services

NotebookPlus is a Chrome and Edge extension that imports the webpage you are viewing into Google NotebookLM (Gemini Notebook™). The website provides accounts, billing, documentation, and support.

NotebookPlus is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. NotebookLM™, Gemini™, and Gemini Notebook™ are trademarks of Google LLC. Google may change NotebookLM at any time; we do not control Google's products and cannot guarantee they will keep working with the extension.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You may sign in with Google or an email one-time passcode. Do not share your verification codes.

We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being used for abuse or fraud.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the Services, interfere with other users, or attempt unauthorized access
  • use the Services in violation of applicable law, including copyright and privacy law
  • scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Services except as allowed by law
  • resell access or share a paid license in a way that circumvents our plans

You are responsible for the webpages you import and for complying with the sites you visit and with Google's terms for NotebookLM.

Plans, payments, and refunds

The Services include a free plan and optional paid plans (monthly Pro and Lifetime), described on the Pricing page. Features and prices may change; the price you pay for a given purchase is the price shown at checkout.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. We do not store your full card number.

  • Pro is a monthly subscription. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Lifetime is a one-time purchase for the NotebookPlus product as it exists and is reasonably maintained. It is not a promise that every future feature will be free forever.
  • Paid plans include a 3-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, email hello@notebookplus.app within 3 days of purchase and we will refund you.

If a subscription expires or a refund is issued, you return to the Free plan. Core import may still work; Pro-only benefits (such as branding removal and priority support) end.

Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in account suspension while we review the claim.

Intellectual property

The Services, including the extension, website, name, and branding, are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Services.

You keep rights to content you import. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the Services (for example, delivering a page into NotebookLM at your request).

Disclaimer

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that imports will always succeed, that NotebookLM will remain compatible, or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you have not paid us).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Third-party services

Checkout, sign-in, email, hosting, and analytics are provided by third parties. Your use of Google, Stripe, and browser stores is also governed by their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Changes

We may update the Services and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. If you continue to use the Services after changes take effect, you accept the new Terms.
